Terry Moore was born in 1951 and raised in the coastal community of Wilmington, North Carolina where he still resides with his wife and family.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is the creator of the Waterways Collection™ of artistic maps of America's coastlines (www.nauticalhangups.com).

With over two-hundred-thousand prints sold, his artwork has been exhibited in corporate offices and homes throughout the United States as well as the U.S. Embassy in Madrid. It also appears in over two dozen feature movies and television shows including the motion picture Mystic River, Matlock and Dawson's Creek series, as well as the Wright Brother's Exhibit in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
